1. This furnace is divided in 1 zone independently controlled, to ensure uniformity of temperature.
2. The heating elements are tape type, operating at a low voltage, through step-down transformer for long life.
3. The heating elements are placed below and above the hearth plates inside the slots of siliminite bricks. The elements can be easily
taken out from the side for the purpose of maintenance.
4. The quench chute from the furnace to the quench tank is provided with an oil curtain to prevent oil fume from entering into furnace.
5. Two sight holes, one at top and other at the discharging end side are provided to inspect the oil curtain in the quench chute and the inside of the furnace at the discharge end.
6. The transformer for the heating element is located underneath the furnace to make the installation compact and minimize the space requirement.
7. The furnace will be supplied completely bricks and assembeled with heating elements, bu-bars, shaker mechanism etc. So as to reduce the erection / commissioning time to the absolute minimum.
8. The furnace will be manufactured as per our proven design working very satisfactoryly with various clients in the country.
