Gas carburising furnace is universal furnace for heat treatment under protective gas atmosphere. It is most suitable for small
loadsand work peices of varying size and equality for exceptionally long work.
Retort type furnace is a pit type furnace with sturdy structural casing, thermal efficient insulating materials,
electric resistance type heating elements with appropriate retort, retort cover assemblies.
The furnace casing consists of a sheet steel surrounding an electrically welded steel frame. The lining consisting of refractories and special
shaped element holding bricks. It is provided with a gas tight retort made out of heat resistance steel. The insulated retort
cover closes the retort gas tight and carries recirculation fan. The gas tight sealing between retorn and retort cover is achieved by
water cooled neoprene ring and hand wheel operated quick acting clamps. The impeller running at high speed creates rapid circulation
of the atmosphere inside the retort for guiding the atmosphere properly through the charge. When used in standing mode, the guide cylinder is placed on the base.
